Xiaomi was at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 and had one of the biggest displays on the show floor: a whole electric vehicle.
Last December, the Chinese tech giant introduced its first electric vehicles, the Xiaomi SU7 and SU7 Max. Now, they showcased it to the global media at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. We were there and took some pictures as we marveled at its exterior.

The variant that Xiaomi had on display is the Xiaomi SU7 Max in its hero Gulf Blue color, which is definitely eye-catching. We also got an actual look at the rear with its panoramic rear lights, plus, a demo of how Xiaomi’s logo will appear on an actual vehicle.

We also have the classic Mi emblem on the hood of the device, err, automobile, as well as the futuristic-looking headlights and large wheels.

Xiaomi President Lu Weibing took to Chinese social media Weibo asking MWC attendees what they think about the car. Weibing then hinted that they are targeting around 20 million unit sales and reiterated their commitment to developing EVs by investing USD10 billion.
For a quick recap, the SU7 Max is an all-wheel drive 664bhp machine with a 495kW power, a 101kWh battery, and an 800V architecture. It has a range of about 800km and can do 0-100km/h in just 2.8 seconds.

The Xiaomi SU7 series is expected to enter mass production in Q2 of 2024.
