Imagine having a supercomputer in your very hands. Nvidia is making that happen in the form of the Nvidia Jetson TK1 for $192.

Based on the same architecture used by the Cray Titan, one of the fastest supercomputer in recent times, the Nvidia Jetson TK1 introduces a variety of capabilities and applications in computer vision, image processing, real-time data processing, and many more. It boasts a performance of 326 gigaflops, which is nowhere close to full-fledged supercomputers but nonetheless superior to other embedded systems.

For developers interested in testing the Nvidia Jetson TK1, the development kit costs $192 and ships next month. The kit consists of the board itself, along with an AC adapter with power cord, USB Micro-B to USB A adapter, and quick start guide. The board features several connectivity options, and we can expect projects utilizing these features soon enough. Self-driving cars, anyone?
