Yesterday, Microsoft announced one of the more affordable flagship phones, the Nokia Lumia 830. How affordable? Just PHP 18,990.00! And, at that price, this is what we get:
Nokia Lumia 830 Specs:
- 5-inch 5” ClearBlack IPS-LCD 720p HD resolution (1280px x 720px) screen, curved Gorilla Glass 3
- 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
- 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD
- 10MP main camera w/ PureView technology, LED flash, 1MP front camera
- LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 + Hi, GPS
- Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim
- 2200mAh Removable battery with Integrated Qi wireless charging
Nokia Lumia 830 is more of a mid-range phone, but the specs aren’t too shabby. The fact that the battery’s removable and has mSD support gives it an advantage over the Lumia 930 (read our review) for me. Aside from those specs above, it also comes with a free 15GB cloud storage support via OneDrive and the PureView camera is complemented by an improved Nokia Camera app, optical image stabilization, and excellent Zeiss optics. It will be available starting tomorrow, October 24.
