The OnePlus 12, the company’s next flagship smartphone, is almost here.

Can’t believe it’s almost been a year since we reviewed the OnePlus 11, and now, its successor, the OnePlus 12, has already been confirmed. The company announced that the new flagship will be launched in China on December 5 at 2:30 PM. The international launch was not confirmed, but several rumors suggest that it will be in late January.

OnePlus has also released teaser photos, which reveal the device’s design in all its glory. As seen from the images below, they look a lot like the OnePlus 11 and will be available in three colors: White, Black, and a special Green variant with a marble-like accent.

The images also show that it will be the first OnePlus device to have a periscope telephoto lens. The camera area also looks a lot like the one from the OnePlus Open/OPPO Find N3 and, rumor also suggests that they will have the same exact camera setup.

That means that it will have a 48-megapixel LYTIA-T808 main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide, and the aforementioned periscope lens with a 64-megapixel sensor.

The rest of the specs are something to be expected from a late 2023 / early 2024 flagship. That means it shall receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and all the processing and imaging power that comes with it.

OnePlus’s teasers on Chinese social media Weibo also confirm that it will have a 2K ProXDR display. Oh, and rumor has it that it will finally gain wireless charging.
