We’ve seen a few augmented reality (AR) glasses lately, but most of them can be quite bulky, geeky-looking, or even have wires. But not the new OPPO Air Glass 2.

The wearable, which was first launched back in December, was showcased at the MWC 2023 in Barcelona, Spain. It features a design and portability that looks ready for the mainstream market as it looks just like regular eyeglasses.

With the Air Glass 2, you can easily make phone calls with its built-in speakers and microphones. It can also display real-time translations as well as location navigation for when you’re walking or cycling. Other notable features include schedule reminders, weather updates, and more.

The second-gen Air Glass utilizes thin and light diffractive waveguide technology, which helps it achieve up to 1,400 nits of brightness. As for the display itself, it has a silicon-based Micro LED panel with 4 microns of single pixels.

To power this portable device, the new Air Glass 2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 wearable chipset and has a battery life that can apparently last for 10.5 hours.

Also showcased at the OPPO MWC 2023 event are the new Flip N2 and WiFi 6 router, Zero-Power Tag, and more. The company also pledged to be carbon neutral by 2050.
