OPPO’s current midrange line is expected to get a more affordable member — the OPPO Reno 4 SE.
The OPPO Reno 4 SE will arrive for more than four months since the Reno 4 series came out in China last June. The company is still mum about the device’s existence, but a listing in TENAA — China’s certification authority — has confirmed that the device does exist and reveals the entirety of its specs.
It’s said that the Reno 4 SE will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor, with 8GB of RAM and 129GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
If we know any better, the Reno 4 SE might be a rebranded version of the Reno 4 Global variant slated for China. It came with the said processor, instead of the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G chipset that the initial, China-only Reno 4 model came with.
But based on the design, it could also be a rebranded OPPO F17 Pro that came out in India and is slated for the Chinese market. The F17 Pro shares the same specs to the Reno 4 Global.
The rest o the specs further proves our theory. It’s said that the Reno 4 SE will have a 6.43-inch FHD+ screen, with a pill-shaped punch-hole for the 32-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual selfie cameras. The quad cameras on the back and the 4,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge are also identical to the Reno 4 Global’s specifications.
OPPO is yet to announce the release date of the OPPO Reno 4 Se, but we expect it to come out in China anytime this month. You can check the full rumored specs list below.
