HONOR plans to continue its winning streak after it announced its partnership with luxury design firm Porsche Design.

Much like HUAWEI’s, we shall see high-end Porsche Design phones coming soon, with the first one arriving in January 2024 — which is rumored to be the Porsche Design HONOR Magic 6.

Since its separation from then-parent company HUAWEI, HONOR has sailed on to become one of the biggest smartphone brands in the world and has become an industry leader in its home country, China.

We’ve seen a lot of interesting designs from the company. There’s the HONOR V Purse, the utilitarian foldable Magic V2, and even intriguing midrange phones like the HONOR 90 5G.

We’re still seeing Porsche Design phones from HUAWEI, but no matter how good-looking they are, the lack of Google Mobile Services still makes them unappetizing for a lot of buyers.

We’re excited to see what its partnership with HONOR brings, especially on the upcoming flagship Magic 6, which is rumored to have killer cameras like a 1-inch sensor, a 160-megapixel periscope lens, and usual upgrades like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
