At long last, the Realme 6 Pro is finally launching in the Philippines since its release back in March.
Realme Philippines announced the arrival of the Realme 6 Pro in the country just weeks since they brought the Realme 6i in the country. The Realme 6 Pro will be launching on May 27, 2020 together with the price announcement. Albeit, no word yet about the cheaper Realme 6’s local release.
It’s powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. The review unit that we got is the top-of-the-line 8GB/128GB model. We also expect the 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants to arrive in the country.
So, what are the reason to get excited about this device? For one, it features a large 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a smooth refresh rate of 90Hz. It also comes with a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
A dual selfie camera is on the front, which consists of a 16-megapixel main shooter and 8-megapixel ultra-wide for group shots. A 64-megapixel main camera is placed on the back, partnered with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and 2-megapixel macro camera.
All of those features are crammed inside an affordable midrange price tag. The Realme 6 Pro has a starting price of INR16,999 in India, which is at around Php11,700 when directly converted to Philippine pesos. We’ll learn about its official local SRP on May 27.
