Xiaomi Philippines has announced the local release date of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is a follow-up to the non-cellular Pad Pro, launched in the Philippines with a starting price of Php14,999. The two are basically the same, only the 5G model obviously gets to have a SIM card slot so you can stay online even without WiFi.
For a quick recap, the Redmi Pad Pro series comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The non-5G model comes in 8GB/256GB and 8GB/128GB RAM and storage variants, and we’re hoping the 5G variant comes with more.
They also share the same 12.1-inch 2.5K IPS displays, 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and quad speakers.
They also have a large 10,000mAh battery, 33W wired charging support, and 8-megapixel cameras in front and back. It should also work with the dedicated accessories made for the non-5G model: there’s the keyboard case, cover case that doubles as a kickstand, and a Bluetooth stylus.
