Considering the Beats acquisition by rival Apple, it’s no surprise that Samsung would come up with its own solution of high-end audio products. Indeed, the Korean electronics giant has launched its Level portfolio of headphones and speakers.

The portfolio is currently populated by four devices:

Samsung Level Over (pictured above). With detachable audio cable, this over-ear Bluetooth headphone features active noise cancellation by using four strategically positioned microphones. Its immersive sound experience can be attributed to its ergonomic design, intuitive controls, and a powerful diaphragm. The Level Over costs $350.

Samsung Level On. If you want a wired headphone instead, the Level On pretty much delivers the same sound quality and ergonomic comfort as its wireless counterpart. It’s also the more affordable choice for audiophiles, as it only costs $180.

Samsung Level In. While the size of those two over-ear headphones can certainly grab attention, those wanting something more discreet should check out the in-ear Level In. It sports a “three-way speaker system” to manage treble, mid-range, and deep bass. It retails for $150.

  1. These are already available locally, spotted them at the Samsung store in Megamall.

They’re quite a bit cheaper over here than abroad, for example the flagship Level Over headphone costs P12,000 (about $275).
