The next big YouTube content creators have been chosen.
Smart’s search for brilliant yet undiscovered Pinoy content creators happened last Sunday at First Pacific Leadership Academy, Antipolo City. One hundred talents were chosen out of 1,537 entries and they showed what they’re made of for a chance to be on the spotlight.
Smart Launchpad is a talent search and content creation program that encourages people to showcase their skills and talents to the world.
Smart Upload Stations were strategically placed in malls and school nationwide to give everyone a chance to join. Content creators were able to make their entries and upload directly to YouTube.

The first day started with talks and workshops about YouTube and social media. Speakers include experts Frank Aldana, Enrique CuUnjieng and Carlo Ople. Makeup guru Michelle Dy and celebrity Nicole Andersson were also there to give valuable tips. Meanwhile, those who are into singing were glad to have Moira dela Torre in the group. Paulo Infante covered the dancing category.

Grand winners received a Samsung prize pack which consists of a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Gear VR, and Samsung Gear 360. That’s on top of the opportunity to fly to Los Angeles and create content with popular YouTube creator Filharmonic and other international stars.
