Smart, one of the country’s leading mobile network for call, text and 4G internet services, reveals that they are set to air an online mini-series called ‘FindHer’, which could be found on their official Youtube channel.
It is set to launch on February 9, Saturday, but the teaser trailer released last week had sent sparks and ‘feels’ from across netizens with the love-month vibes.
In partnership with Epicmedia and Bent & Buzz, the mini-series is produced and directed by award-winning talent and critically-acclaimed director, Victor Villanueva. It is written by award-winning writer, Carl Chavez, and best-selling author, Rod Marmol.
Played by Barbara Ruaro (from Dogs Days), Dianne Monsanto (from Tubig at Langis), and Vance Larena (from Bakwit Boys), FindHer is a romantic comedy show which revolves around 3 individuals—Lia, Aika, and Gabe—who contend and experience the complications of love in a modern age ruled by technology and dating applications.
“[Find Her] was partly inspired by Your Name because I’m a bit of a fan of anime…” explains Mr. Villanueva, referring to the hit Japanese Animation where the characters set out on a quest to meet each other after magically swapping bodies.
“FindHer is both a creative and strategic move for us as we continue to expand our portfolio to meet the growing appetite of Filipinos for meaningful and entertaining digital content.” Says Andrew Santos, PLDT-Smart’s FVP and Consumer Marketing head regarding their show.
“Over the years, Smart has worked with amazing creative teams to produce heartwarming stories for our ads and other online content. FindHer marks a milestone for us as we push our storytelling further in a series format.” Was the company’s Department Head and Vice President for Prepaid Business, Carlo Endaya’s, comment.
Smart, Sun and TNT customers can stream the series with Video Every Day promo, which offers an hour of free video streaming on Youtube (but as well as iflix, iWantTV, Cignal Play, and NBA League Pass). It comes with any active subscription to Giga Surf promos. Just dial *121#.
FindHer will be having a total of 7 episodes, 5 which will be released on February 9 with the final 2 on February 14 in time for Valentine’s Day itself.
