vivo Vice President and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy Jia Jingdong shared a couple of information on their upcoming high-end phones, the vivo X200 series.
The series will consist of the vivo X200, the vivo X200 Pro, and an all-new vivo X200 Pro Mini. The designs are similar to the X100 series with the large, circular camera island on the back. Only this time, the vanilla and Pro models have a 2×2 camera layout, while the Mini inherits last year’s.

What’s more, the series has ZEISS 200-megapixel APO telephoto lens. It has a 135mm focal length with a “telephoto macro” mode. It also has a “landscape mode” that was designed to literally take nice photos of landscapes and sceneries.
They will also feature 4K 120fps slow-mo recording, 4K backlit movie portrait video, 10-bit log format, will use a Sony LYT-818 sensor, and vivo’s own V3+ imaging chip.

For the rest of the hardware, the X200 series is expected to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor and will use a Silicone Negative Electrode module for a smaller but high-density battery. Plus, it is expected to have a lot of AI features like AI Erase, text generator, and more.
The vivo X200 series is expected to be launched in China on October 14.
