Xiaomi makes some of the best power banks in the industry today. If you own one, you know how sturdy, feature-packed, and budget-friendly they are. Those are the things that we’re also seeing on the new Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 Pro Edition.
The name pretty much says it all. As expected, the Xiaomi Mi Bank 3 Pro Edition sports a juicy 20,000mAh Li-Po capacity, has two USB Type-A and one USB Type-C ports.
Unlike most power banks in the market today, the USB Type-C on this thing has two-way charging support. Which means that you can use it to fill up the power bank itself, or output power to charge Type-C compatible device.
The most interesting part is, it can deliver a whopping 45W of charge. This means it can charge your smartphones, Nintendo Switch, or any smaller devices faster. And as a huge plus, this also allows you to charge most dated laptops that rely on Type-C for charging.
These laptops obviously includes the Xiaomi Mi Pro and Mi Air laptops, as well as most dated MacBooks, Huawei MateBook X and others, Dell XPS notebooks, and more.
The Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 3 Pro Edition boasts an inconspicuous polycarbonate matte finish, and has a built-in chip for overcharging protection. It can be recharged via a 10W charger for 11hrs, which can be shortened to 4hrs and 30mins using a 45W plug.
As of writing, the Mi Power Bank 3 Pro Edition is only available in China for CNY199 (~Php1,500). It’s availability outside the motherland, especially here in the Philippines, are yet to be known.
