It looks like we’ll be expecting yet another smartphone from ASUS. In a leaked press render, we’re seeing a dual-camera equipped device dubbed as the ASUS Zenfone Pegasus 4A.
We’ve first seen ASUS implement this camera configuration with the Zenfone 3 Zoom. But this time around, it looks like the Taiwanese brand is creating a completely new line with the ASUS Zenfone Pegasus 4A — that is, of course, if they end up using that name on the final release.
Judging by the press render, this new device’s looks is a bit of a departure from ASUS’ usual design language. The back appears to be made of either metal or plastic. The front also looks far more basic, with a button at the chin that might double as a fingerprint scanner.
The report also revealed a few major spec details about the purported ASUS Zenfone Pegasus 4A. For one, the device is said to have a 5-inch HD display. It also has a MediaTek MT6737V processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB if internal storage. This goes to show that it might be situated on the midrange category.

Furthermore, it will also have a large 4100mAh battery, Android 7.0 Nougat, and will rock a microUSB port instead of USB Type-C.
And going to the highlight of this device, there’s a 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel camera sensors at the back. If ASUS will continue the Zenfone 3 Zoom’s legacy, we can expect the secondary rear camera will provide optical zoom capabilities. There’s also a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
As per the report, the smartphone will retail for CNY1799, which is around Php13,300 when converted directly.
