OPPO, one of the most popular Chinese smartphone manufacturers out there is said to be preparing to launch a new handset dubbed as OPPO A77.
We don’t know if there’s still a place for the A77 in the already packed line-up of OPPO, but let’s just trust that they know what they’re doing. This strategy is quite similar to Samsung, which bombarded the market with tons of smartphones.
Currently, the OPPO A39 sits right next to the F1s in the pricing department here in the Philippines. Since the OPPO A77 has a higher model number, we expect them to adjust the pricing accordingly in case it arrives here in the country.
The OPPO A77 will sport a MediaTek MT6750T CPU and it will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. That’s a similar setup to the new OPPO F3, so it’s possible that it’s just another variant. However, it doesn’t make sense to change the name for these two if they were just the same inside and out.
In true OPPO fashion, this device’s cameras are also a top priority. It is said to carry a 13-megapixel rear camera plus a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. The device supports dual SIM but it’s not yet known if it’s hybrid or not. Other features include a 1080p 5.5-inch display and 3200mAh battery.
According to the report, the phone can make its debut this May 26 in Taiwan. As for the price, there’s no concrete information about it as of the moment.
