OPPO is expected to officially unveil F9 on August 15. And in the past few days, the company have been posting numerous teasers for the said device, without officially unveiling its main features.
Thankfully, we don’t have to wait until the OPPO F9 gets officially introduced to know its specs. Someone was able to get a hands on the official specs list of the said device, which reveals everything we can possibly know about it.
The number one question that most people have is what processor the F9 will run on. And as per the revealed details, the handset will come with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. That’s in line with our speculations when the device first got leaked.
There’s going to be an option between 4GB/6GB of RAM. It’s not clear if the listed 6GB of RAM is going to be the OPPO F9 Pro version. But since we’re only seeing a 64GB storage option, we suspect that the specs list that we’re looking here are just for the standard F9 variant.
Moving on, it will also come with a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen, with the said “Waterdrop screen”. It is still not clear if that new terminology refers to its ultra-thin display notch or if it will come with any waterproofing certification. We expect OPPO to shed more light to this feature on the 15th.

Moreover, the OPPO F9 will have a 25-megapixel selfie camera, and a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear shooters. It will also come with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with a layer of ColorOS 5.1.
And of course, let’s not forget its VOOC charging technology. That’s the only feature that OPPO is showcasing on their teasers. However, we do now know that it will have a 3,500mAh battery.
By the looks of it, the OPPO F9 has a lot of similarities to its predecessor, the OPPO F7. It appears to be a more refined version of the latter with better design, dual cameras, and slightly larger battery capacity.
As of now, the only missing piece of the puzzle is the price. Something that we can finally uncover once the device becomes official on August 15.
