After its prepaid service, DITO Telecommunity announced that they are finally launching postpaid and enterprise services soon.

In an announcement made last Thursday, DITO Chief Administrative Officer Adel A. Tamano said that they will be launching their postpaid plans in June as well as entering the enterprise business — finally offering products to companies and small enterprises.

Tamano said that in 2022, they earned Php7.2 billion, and that’s just for their prepaid service. The company is optimistic that those earnings are “nothing to what’s coming.”

Meanwhile, DITO Chief Technology Officer Rodolfo D. Santiago said that, upon entering the postpaid and enterprise market, one of their “edge” will be their affordability.

When citing DITO’s cloud software, Santiago said: “There is a lot of technology that we are using to help provide customers value for money. We are expecting that potential clients see us as much more reliable and cheaper.”

DITO is obligated to allocate Php27 billion in capital expenditure this 2023 to increase its coverage as part of its auditing commitment. This will increase DITO’s cumulative CAPEX, under its government commitment, to Php230 billion by the end of the year.

Santiago reported that DITO is about to reach 77% to 78% coverage, which will allow them to achieve its 80% target before its fourth technical audit happens on July 8.
