Globe Telecom announced that they have rolled out 5G Voice over New Radio (VoNR), making them the first telco in the Philippines to do it.

As per Globe, this milestone was showcased at the INNOVANIA-themed Technology and Innovations Day. The new service was made possible thanks to Globe’s partnership with HPE Singapore.

VoNR uses 5G standalone network to ensure better voice quality, faster call setup, and seamless handovers during voice calls.
