Globe at Home has introduced its latest Backup Fiber Plan for those who want a secondary internet connection for redundancy in case the main plan fails or slows down.
Much like PLDT’s new MyOwnWiFi plans, the Globe at Home Backup Fibe Plan 499 is for those who are working from home, attending online classes, or anyone who wants a secondary internet plan exclusive to them for a more reliable connection, as they don’t have share with anyone in the household.
Unlike PLDT’s, Globe’s backup internet service doesn’t necessarily require you to have an existing Globe at Home main plan. Albeit, you have to present the latest bill from a competitor internet service provider. Plus, you should also be in the location where the service is available.

This latest service comes with a Php2,500 installation fee that can be amortized for three months. It also has a 12-month lock-in period, which is half of the traditional internet plans.
The Globe at Home Backup Internet Plan 499 comes with up to 25Mbps of internet speeds with a 50GB data limit per month. If you run out of data, you can avail the data boosts listed below. Bear in mind that the unused data after the validity period cannot be reused.
