For four straight quarters since the second quarter of 2022, telecom giant Globe has been taking the lead as the Philippines’ “Most Reliable Mobile Network” for its highest consistency scores, according to Ookla.
The finding was drawn from the Ookla Speedtest Intelligence Q1 2023 data.
Considered to be a difficult title to possess, the “most reliable” moniker has been treated as a badge of honor in an industry where only a few across the globe have ever merited it. For consumers, it is inevitably a sought-after requirement, which reflects the service provider’s influence on the customer experience.

Based on the data produced by Ookla, Globe managed 83.39 percent in the All Technology Consistency Score in Q1 2023, which saw an improvement from Q4 2022’s 83.13 percent rating.
Globe also appears to be doing well in the broadband internet front, too, as it holds the title of “Most Consistent Broadband” across multiple provinces during the first quarter. In particular, the company garnered the following consistency scores in these regions:
- Pampanga: 85.01 percent
- Antique: 69.68 percent
- Samar: 66.13 percent
- Lanao Del Sur: 65.91 percent
- Leyte: 60.42 percent
- Eastern Visayas: 59.46 percent
Globe once again proved the superiority of its service to its competition when it topped the All Technology Availability category with a 93.18 percent rating in Q1 2023, from 92.38 percent in Q4 2022.
