Filipinos who reserve a Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, or Z Flip8 through Smart Postpaid or Infinity from July 22 to August 13 get a complimentary 512GB bump and stacked device perks.

Smart Communications has opened pre-orders for Samsung’s Galaxy Z8 Series in the Philippines, running from July 22 to August 13, 2026, ahead of an August 7 general retail launch.

The lineup, unveiled at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked in London on July 22, includes three foldables: the new passport-shaped Galaxy Z Fold8, the first Ultra-branded Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and the clamshell Galaxy Z Flip8. Both Folds run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy. The standard Fold8 tips the scales at 201 grams and carries a 4,800 mAh battery, while the Ultra adds a 5,000 mAh silicon-carbon cell, a 200-megapixel main camera, and Samsung’s new “Flex Titanium” display structure.

Philippine SRPs across storage tiers:

  • Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra — 256GB at Php123,990 / 512GB at Php137,990 / 1TB at Php165,990
  • Galaxy Z Fold8 — 256GB at Php109,990 / 512GB at Php123,990 / 1TB at Php151,990

Subscribers who pre-order through Smart Postpaid or Smart Infinity get a complimentary upgrade from 256GB to 512GB — savings of up to Php14,000, depending on the model — plus three months of Samsung Care+. Smart’s Trade-In Program can stack another Php14,000 off when an eligible smartphone is turned in at a participating Smart Store once the new devices ship.

On Smart Postpaid Plans+ 1999, the 512GB configurations (after the free storage bump) come out to:

  • Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra (512GB) — Php101,600, or Php5,021/month
  • Galaxy Z Fold8 (512GB) — Php91,100, or Php4,500/month
  • Galaxy Z Flip8 (512GB) — Php65,100, or Php3,217/month

All three are payable straight or over 24 months at zero interest on Metrobank, Security Bank, BPI, UnionBank, HSBC, or RCBC credit cards. The Fold8 series is also available through Infinity Plan 5000 and Plan 8000 with unlimited data, calls, and texts, plus concierge and airport-lounge perks.

Smart is bundling the phones with Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The Ultra 2 runs on a Snapdragon Wear Elite chip with an 800 mAh battery and a 5,000-nit AMOLED display. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 LTE starts at Php1,525 a month on Smart Postpaid, while the Galaxy Watch 9 starts at Php867 — roughly 20% below SRP when bundled with a Z8 device.

Pre-orders are open at smart.com.ph/galaxypreorder, the Smart Infinity page, or any Smart Store nationwide.
