The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has botched a Texas man’s attempt at destroying “70% of the internet” on Thursday, a supposed bomb attack aimed at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) data center located at Smith Switch Road in Ashburn, Virginia.

28-year-old Seth Aaron Pendley was prosecuted on Friday, following a criminal complaint that describes the accused’s effort to be involving the destruction of the building using C4, explosives which he tried to obtain from an undercover FBI employee.

Active in a forum popular among militia members and its supporters, the MyMilitia website, the suspect caught the enforcement agency’s attention when he revealed his intent about the so-called crime under the guise of “Dionysus.”

An FBI tipster, who also played role in the subsequent capture of Pendley, revealed a plan of bombing servers believed to be employed by various US government agencies. It was also unveiled that a scheme aimed at taking down the “oligarchs” that run the United States was also in place.
