Facebook has introduced a new feature that can be super helpful for everyone but can be annoying to some, especially those who are experiencing notification anxiety.
Facebook now has an @everyone tag feature that lets group members send a special notification to everyone as if they are tagging them individually. This new feature was introduced in March of 2022.
It’s quite useful if you want to call out every member of a Facebook Group, especially if it’s an important message. This is a big help for group moderators and administrators when making announcements.

However, there are some users who abuse this feature as they would tag everyone even on less-important messages and announcements.
This, in return, can trigger notification anxiety that some users may have. If you’re one of those users, here’s how you can disable the @everyone tag on both Facebook Messenger and Groups.
How to disable @everyone notification on Facebook
Step 1: Open your Facebook account and go to “Menu” or the icon with your profile picture in it.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap “Settings”.

Step 3: Tap “Profile Settings”.

Step 3: Tap “Notification settings”.

Step 4: Choose whether you want to get tagged notifications from your “Friends” or “Friends of Friends”. Scroll down and disable “Batch @everyone mentions”.

That’s how you can disable the @everyone notifications on Facebook Groups. If you’re looking to disable a similar feature on on Facebook Messenger, sadly, it’s not available. The best you can do is mute the group chat entirely.

Just wish to say your article is as surprising. The clarity for your post is just nice and that i could suppose you are a professional on this subject.
Fine together with your permission allow me to grasp your feed to stay up to date with coming near near post.
Thank you one million and please continue the enjoyable work.
Howdy just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Chrome.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something
to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The style and design look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon.
Thanks
