Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi 15 flagship line powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Announced alongside the Xiaomi 15 Pro, the new Xiaomi 15 has the best chipset from Qualcomm, which you can pair with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It also has a silicon-carbon battery, allowing Xiaomi to increase its capacity from 4,610mAh to a whopping 5,400mAh.
Despite the bigger battery, it is slightly smaller but 3g heavier than its predecessor.
The Xiaomi 15 is also a good alternative to the Pro for people who want a smaller and more compact device. It only has a 6.36-inch screen, but still uses an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a bright 3,200 nits of peak brightness. It is also protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal glass, which is said to be 10x tougher than Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
It also has a similar camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 900 with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel telephoto (only with 3x optical zoom instead of 5x), and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide. It also has the same 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The duo also shares the same 90W fast wired charging and 50W wireless. It is available in five colorways and a special Custom Edition that lets you choose from 20 different color palettes.
Those who are in China can now pre-order the Xiaomi 15 for a price of CNY4,499 (~Php36,700) for the 12GB/256GB, CNY4,799 (~Php39,200) for the 12GB/512GB, CNY4,999 (~Php40,800) for the 16GB/512GB, CNY5,499 (~Php44,900) for the 16GB/1TB, CNY5,999 (~Php48,900) for the Diamond Edition, and CNY4,999 (~Php40,800) for the Custom Edition with 16GB/512GB configuration.
