Huawei has released a new line of desktop screens in China called the MateView GT 2026 series. The company is targeting gamers and office workers with four different models, all built around a 27-inch display.

The main difference between the versions comes down to resolution and speed. Two of the models come with a 4K screen and a 160Hz refresh rate. For people who play fast-paced games, these monitors can also switch to 1080p resolution and run at 320Hz. The other two models offer a 2K screen with a 200Hz refresh rate, which is still plenty smooth for most gaming.

All the screens cover a wide range of colors and come already adjusted from the factory to make sure colors look accurate. The brighter models, which are the 4K versions, can hit up to 450 nits, while the 2K ones go up to 350 nits.

One of the 4K models comes with a special anti-glare coating that helps cut down on reflections. The rest still have certifications for reducing eye strain.

Huawei also added a sound system to two of the models. These so-called Sound editions include a multi-speaker setup built right into the monitor. The other two do not have built-in speakers.

The connection ports vary depending on the model. The 4K versions have two HDMI 2.1 ports and a DisplayPort. The Sound edition of the 4K model also includes a USB-C port that can charge a laptop at up to 100 watts. The 2K Sound model has USB-C as well, while the basic 2K model keeps things simpler with just one HDMI and a DisplayPort.

The stand lets you tilt the screen or flip it vertically if you need a different viewing angle.

Pricing starts at CNY1,099, which is around $165 (~Php9,900), for the basic 2K model. The 4K version without speakers goes for CNY1,999 or roughly $300 (~Php18,000). Adding the sound system bumps the price to CNY1,499 (~Php13,000) for the 2K model and CNY2,599(~Php22,600) for the 4K one.
