After 7 years, the vivo S series is making a comeback with the new vivo S2.
The vivo S2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor, with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and will receive 3 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
There’s a fancy 6.83-inch curved AMOLED screen on the front with a high 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000-nit peak brightness.
A 32-megapixel selfie camera is on the top of the display, while the rear has a 50-megapixel main shooter and 2-megapixel depth sensor. vivo’s signature Aura Light flash is also here.
Keeping the lights on is a 7,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
You also get an IP66 and IP69-rated dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, stereo speakers, and a large 3800mm2 vapor chamber cooling system.
The vivo S2 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants will be available in India starting August 11 for INR39,999 (~Php25,600) and INR44,999 (~Php28,800), respectively.
