Packing hardware and design that aims to stand out in the entry-level market, the Redmi 17C makes its debut in China.
The Redmi 17C features a large, prominent circular camera island on the back. It holds the 13-megapixel main camera and two unknown lenses. It is available in three colorways: Red with gold accents, Blue, and Black.

On the front, there’s an enormous 6.88-inch IPS display, with a high 120Hz refresh rate, 600-nit peak brightness, but only an HD+ resolution.
Under the hood, we have a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, with 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of expandable storage. No 5G connectivity.

Keeping the lights on is a relatively small 5,160mAh battery with decent 18W wired charging.
It can also withstand drops, albeit no official rating was mentioned. The device ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3.

The Redmi 17C 4GB/64GB has an SRP of CNY799 (~Php7,200), while the 4GB/128GB retails for CNY899 (~Php8,100). International release details are yet to be known.
