A new entry-level Galaxy A0-series from Samsung has come out: the Samsung Galaxy A08.

The Samsung Galaxy A08 comes with a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, with the chipset brand and model Samsung didn’t care to tell us about. It only has 4GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

It also has a large 6.7-inch LCD display with a 1600 x 720 pixel resolution, an 8-megapixel selfie camera on top of it, and a 50-megapixel main shooter on the back paired with a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens.

There’s a 6,000mAh battery, which is generous for a Samsung budget phone.

The hardware might be sketchy, but Samsung did promise it will receive 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches, much like Samsung’s more premium offerings.

As a cherry on top, the Galaxy A08 received an IP64 rating for being dust- and water-resistant.
