Xiaomi is about to unveil both hardware and software products on a single event before the month ends.

The company went to its official Weibo page to announce the release date for the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth and the MIUI 12, which will happen via a live stream on April 27 at 2 PM in China.

Xiaomi didn’t extensively reveal the details for the Mi 10 Youth. However, the poster teaser from Xiaomi (image above) shows its similarities to the Mi 10 Lite that was launched in Europe last month.

The poster also reveals that it would have a 50x zoom. You can see that the fourth camera has a squarish lens. We’ve seen this kind of camera on devices like the Find X2 Pro that comes with a periscope-style telephoto lens.

We expect the rest of the Mi 10 Youth’s specs to be similar to the Mi 10 Lite. Primarily, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor, which will also enable the device’s 5G connectivity.

What’s certain here is the Mi 10 Youth will come in four vibrant colors: white, green, blue, and gold.

On the other hand, we already got a first look at the MIUI 12‘s interface and we will uncover more once it’s been officially announced.

For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Xiaomi has in store for us on the April 27 live event.
