There are a lot of smartwatches around that claim to have good health tracking features, but none of them took it as seriously as the new Huawei Watch D did.
The claim to fame of the Huawei Watch D is being the first “medical-grade smartwatch” as it boasts sensors that we never see on other wearables.

This watch comes with a blood pressure measurement. Yup, you heard that right. This small device managed to come with a mini pump and airbag on the strap.
Huawei claims that it has a margin of error within ±3 mm Hg thanks to its high-precision pressure sensor. It’s then handled by the Huawei TruBP blood pressure algorithm.

The watch also comes with a high-performance ECG sensor for measurements, real-time analysis, sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, and premature atrial and ventricular beat reminders.
Huawei also developed a couple of health-centric software features for the watch. There’s the Daily Health Check-in with routine checks; Huawei Health App for sharing health data with family; a dedicated ECG app; TrueSEEN 5.0+ heart rate monitoring; as well as SpO2 monitoring, TrueSleep 2.0 sleep monitoring, body temperature sensor, and stress monitoring.

Like a real wearable, the Watch D can also be used for tracking activities. It has more than 70 workout modes, steps counter, calories burned, and more.
As for the battery, Huawei claims that it can last for up to 7 days on a single charge via wired or wireless.

Typical smartwatch functions are also here: music controls, weather forecasts, smart voice assistant, notifications, and more. The watch works on devices with Android 6.0 or later, iOS 12 or later, and HarmonyOS 2 or later.
The Huawei Watch D has an SRP of Php19,999 in the Philippines and comes with free FreeBuds 4i TWS earphones worth Php3,599 until July 14. You can get it at Huawei Online Store, Shopee, and Lazada.
