Huawei possibly has the most number of smart wearables in the Philippines. Their portfolio deepens with the local release of the Watch GT 2 Pro.
Initially launched in September, the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro features a circular watch face with a premium titanium frame that’s surprisingly lightweight. It then has a ceramic back to make it comfortable to the skin.
On the side, you can spot two wear-resistant sapphire dials. The screen itself is a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen. The entire body is 5ATM water-resistant
The GT 2 Pro has an optical heart-rate monitor and GPS that lets the watch track 100+ different workouts. It also comes with VO2Max measurement. Plus, the built-in altitude barometer lets you know of changes in air pressure. SpO2 blood oxygen saturation measurement is also present. Plus, scientific sleep monitoring with Huawei TruSleep 2.0.
Huawei also rigged that Watch GT 2 Pro with wireless charging. The battery itself can last for two weeks on full, with a quick 5-minute charge already providing 10 hours of use.
Of course, there are the usual smartwatch features. The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro comes with music controls, notifications, answer/reject calls with the built-in mic and speaker, remote camera shutter, and more.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro has an official price of Php11,999 in the Philippines. It will be available starting November 7 at Lazada and Huawei’s own online store. Until November 13, you can get it with a free Huawei Freebuds 3i and LED-lit Bluetooth speakers.
