OPPO Philippines finally brought its latest high-end smartwatch to the country, the OPPO Watch X.
The new OPPO Watch X features a classic watch design available in two colorways: Mars Brown with a silver stainless steel case and brown fluororubber watch strap, and Platinum Black with a dark case and strap.

It uses sapphire crystal glass for the watch face — the same material found on actual luxury watches. It is said to be 50% more puncture-resistant and 400% more drop-resistant than the OPPO Watch 4 Pro.
The whole watch passed the military-grade MIL-STD-810H testing, can withstand extreme temperatures (-20℃-55℃), is IP68 dust and water resistant, and is 5ATM waterproof.

It comes with two inputs. There’s the Quick Action Button that’s been strategically placed at the bottom right to avoid mis-touches. Adjacent to it is the digital crown on top.
For the screen, we have a 1.43-inch AMOLED panel with a sharp 466 x 466 resolution, 1000-nits of peak brightness, and Always-On Display (AOD) support. There are also a bunch of watch face designs to choose from to match your style.

One of its cool features is the dual-engine architecture. It comes with two processors: A Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip for a smoother interface and rich features, while the BES2700 chip limits features to only the essentials to prolong battery life.
The secondary chip takes over when you enable Smart Mode, which extends the battery by up to 100 hours. There’s also the Power Saver mode, which lets you use the watch for up to 12 days by only giving you access to select features like calls, music controls, sleep monitoring, and more than 15 apps.

Under standard mode, you can use all the device’s features for up to 48 hours.
The Watch X supports VOOC Flash Charge that provides a day’s use with just a 10-minute charge. Fully charging the 500mAh battery takes about an hour.

Of course, the OPPO Watch X is powered by Google’s Wear OS, giving you access to a bunch of apps on the Google Play Store. Google Assistant through voice commands is also supported, as well as Google Wallet for easy cashless payments.
Dual-frequency GPS is also here, with a bunch of activity and workout tracking modes, heart-rate sensors, blood oxygen monitoring, and stress monitoring with alerts.

Other hardware features include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, dual-band WiFi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
The OPPO Watch X has an SRP of Php18,999 in the Philippines and is available on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and OPPO physical stores nationwide. You can also get it bundled with the OPPO Reno12 for Php40,998 or Reno12 Pro 5G for Php50,998.
