OPPO has introduced a new wearable called the OPPO Watch X and if it looks familiar, that’s because we’ve already seen the same product just a week ago.

The OPPO Watch X, introduced in Malaysia, is essentially a rebranded OnePlus Watch 2 introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain last week.

That said, OPPO’s latest watch has the clever dual-OS feature of the OnePlus model. The Google WearOS is running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor. This gives you access to all the apps available on the Play Store.

But if you want a much better battery life, the real-time operating system (RTOS) that’s running on the BES 2700BP offers a much simpler and more efficient interface for a battery life (500mAh) of up to 12 days versus the former’s up to 100 hours.

Charging is done using OPPO’s VOOC Flash charge which can provide a day of use in just 10 minutes or a full charge in just an hour.

The watch then has a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 60Hz refresh rate. It is also 5ATM water resistant, MIL-STD-810H compliant, has dual-frequency BDS, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, heart-rate monitoring, optical pulse oximeter, NFC, IP68 dust and water resistant.
