One of the most popular smart bands in the world officially got a bigger brother. Meet the new Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro.

As the name suggests, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro is larger and better than the Band 7 but less finicky and cheaper than the Xiaomi Watch.

The Band 7 Pro has a 1.64-inch screen, which is larger than the non-Pro’s 1.47-inch display. This one has an AMOLED panel with an impressive 456 x 280 resolution at 326ppi — almost as sharp as what most smartphones have.

Xiaomi also rigged it with an ambient light sensor, so it automatically adjusts the screen brightness for better efficiency. Being an AMOLED panel, it also has an always-on display (AOD) mode so you can see the time, notifications, etc., even when the device is on idle.

To take advantage of the sharp and colorful screen, there are over 180 new watch faces available for you to choose from.

What makes the Pro model a real step up over the vanilla Band 7 is the built-in GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and BDS. This means that you can track your workout routes — whether it’s running, biking, etc. — even when your phone is not with you.

Of course, the Band 7 Pro comes with a heart-rate sensor and SpO2 blood-oxygen monitoring. These sensors also help track your activities better, as well as sleep quality.

Speaking of activities, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro has 117 exercise modes, which include 10 running courses. It can also track your swimming since it has a 5ATM water-resistant body.
