Huawei Nova 10, 10 Pro: Snapdragon 778G 4G, 120Hz OLED, 60MP selfie cameras

Huawei’s popular Nova series launches two new smartphones, the Nova 10 and 10 Pro.

Both the new Huawei Nova 10 and 10 Pro are powered by the same 4G-only Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor, HarmonyOS 2.0 software, fast 120Hz OLED displays, and an ultra-sharp 60-megapixel selfie camera.

For the Pro model, we’re getting a larger 6.78-inch screen, versus the vanilla’s 6.67-inch. It also has a pill-shaped punch-hole at it boasts a secondary 8-megapixel sensor for portraits.

Another key differences are the batteries and charging. The non-Pro model has a smaller 4,000mAh battery with a slower but still impressive 66W charging. The latter boasts a 4,500mAh capacity paired with a 100W adapter.

The duo shares the same tripe cameras on the back, which sits in a layout similar to its cousins. Leading the pack is a 50-megapixel main camera, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Those who are in China can bet both models starting July 8 with pre-orders starting now. Release details in the Philippines are yet to be announced.

The Huawei Nova 10 has a price of CNY2,699 (around Php22,300) and CNY2,999 (around Php24,700) for the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB models, respectively. Meanwhile, the Nova 10 Pro starts at CNY3,699 (around Php30,500) for the 8GB/128GB, while the 8GB/256GB is at CNY3,999 (around Php32,900).
