Xiaomi recently launched a couple of new devices in the Philippines, including a refresh to one of the most popular wearables in the world, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8, which landed in the Philippines together with the Xiaomi 13T series, features a new premium metallic midframe that’s available in Champagne Gold and Graphite Black. They will ship with the regular TPU sports band, but you can pair it with different straps from leather to a chain strap thanks to a new quick-release mechanism.
You can also wear it like a pendant or clip it to your shoes for more accurate workout tracking. Xiaomi has also introduced a couple of new watch faces to keep things fresh.
Xiaomi has also increased the refresh rate to 60Hz on the 1.62-inch AMOLED screen with a sharp 326ppi and a brightness of 600 nits.
The Band 8 has over 150 fitness modes; 24/7 heart rate, stress, and blood oxygen monitoring, women’s health management, and advanced sleep quality tracking and analysis.
It is also 5ATM water resistant — safe for swimming. The battery lasts for up to 16 days on normal use, 6 days with AOD enabled; and can do the usual things like notification alerts, weather updates, alarms, and more.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 has a price of only Php1,999 and is now available on Xiaomi Authorized stores and on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTon Shop.
