ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) Philippines

The bigger Zenfone 3 Max is here.

ASUS Philippines has brought the bigger sibling of the ZC520TL – the Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL). Aside from the bigger size, it also brings a lot more to the table with improvements in the internals as well as the display.

It flaunts a 5.5-inch 1080 IPS 2.5D contoured glass screen up front while the chipset running the show has been upgraded to a 64-bit 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430. The RAM gets 1GB more, now with a total of 3GB. Plenty of storage onboard with 32GB and expansion support for up to 256GB. Unfortunately, it uses a hybrid slot which means that you can only use 1 SIM if you decide to use a microSD.

Probably the only setback on the Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is it actually has a smaller battery than the 5.2-inch model. It’s only by 30mAh which means nothing in the real world, but the better resolution and screen size would definitely take a toll. Not to mention the more powerful processor used. The good news is that it has fast charging technology support, so filling up the battery won’t take too long.

The Zenfone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is priced at Php10,995 and it’s currently available for pre-order (Php500 fee) on the new ASUS Zenfone store at Glorietta, Makati City.
