Qualcomm-Snapdragon-NoypiGeeks-5812

How fast is your Android smartphone’s processor compared to others? Here’s a nifty chart to check the performance of the latest Android processors.

Per the chart, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G that’s found in phones such as Xiaomi Mi 10 and LG V60 ThinQ 5G has claimed the top spot. Samsung’s controversial Exynos 990 is trailing in second place. Meanwhile, the Kirin 990 5G that powers the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro places fifth, behind third-placer Dimensity 1000+ and fourth placer Snapdragon 855 Plus.

Interestingly, Apple’s mobile processors for its iPhones are missing from the chart. Had they been included, many of them would be on top or close to it.

Note that sheer CPU and GPU performance do not equate to real-world performance and user experience. Screen refresh rate, storage speeds, bloated software and so many other factors can cause the overall performance of smartphones to vary even if they’re powered by the same chip.
