With PC shipment apparently in major decline, Asus has shifted its focus on consumer tablets. Perhaps in an effort to spur up sales, it’s coming up with slates that run not just on the Android platform, but Windows as well. One of these is the Asus M80T, which recently arrived at the FCC doorsteps.

Details about the device are scarce. However, we do know that the Asus M80T is one of nine upcoming models, three of which are described as having dual OS. With the remaining six running on just either Android or Windows, Asus is indeed letting users choose according to their platform preference.

Though their CPU and graphics performance are unknown, all variants will probably be budget-friendly devices, what with the inclusion of basic Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Hopefully the company will shed more light on the Asus M80T at the 2014 International CES tradeshow in early January. Are they the sequel to this year’s Memo Pad 7?
