You know Cat for their heavy-duty and rugged equipmments. So if you know someone who works in the construction business, how about you show them this new Cat S32 rugged smartphone.
The Cat S32 is made for those who use Cat’s other products. This thing is thick and rugged, unlike what most smartphones are.
It comes with IP68 water resistance, which can be submerged by up to 1.5m of water for 35 minutes.
Just like the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, the S32 is MIL-SPEC-810G compliant, so it can withstand shocks and vibrations. The company even drop-tested it from 1.8m to a steel surface and it held up.
To achieve it, the S32 has a different design. It’s built with a rubberized material that also provides a comfortable and safe grip. There’s a customizable button that can be used for push-to-talk apps or SOS for emergencies.
The outside shell is pretty amazing, but not as much as the internals. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio A20 quad-core processor, with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Although the battery capacity is quite impressive at 4,200mAh.
You can get the Cat S32 for a price of EUR299 (~Php16,800) from the company’s own website.
