Ever since Flare was announced, Cherry Mobile seemed to have been an unstoppable force, as it has continuously released affordable phones for the Mass. Speaking of Cherry Mobile Flare, it was the most affordable Dual-Core Android phone last November 2012 at P4,000. Less than a year later, Cherry Mobile Released a relatively late sibling with a cheaper price tag in the form of Cherry Mobile Amber.
Cherry Mobile Amber Specs
- 3G Enabled
- 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor
- 4 Inch Capacitive Touch Screen
- 5MP Main camera with Flash
- 0.3MP Front camera
- 4GB Internal Memory
- FM Radio
- Dual-Sim
- WiFi
- GPS
- 3G
CM Amber’s specifications looks familiar to Cherry Mobile Flare but with a cheaper tag price. After a year, I’m hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that this phone will perform better than the Flare, despite the lower tag. Still, with a relatively cheap price tag, Amber will surely net a couple of budget-stricken peeps.

Using this for more than a year, ilang beses na rin nahulog. Good thing matibay naman pala itong Amber at di nababasag. Sad lang wala akong case na makita na nagbebenta. Good battery din, ung camera hmm pwede na rin sa mga hindi mahilig sa selfie. FB, Instagram, OM and games ok na ok to.
hi i bought mine more than a year ago… problema ko ngayon yung data connection nung bago pa maayos pero ngayon di ko na magamit laging G yung display instead of H/H+, i tried switching sims na rin smart, globe ganun pa rin tapos madalas totally nawawala yung signal nung sim kung saan enabled yung 3G, kahit sa ibang lugar ganun pa rin… what do you think? anyone with a solution or experiencing the same thing? ty
