Cherry Mobile is starting to fill up their new Desire R7 line-up. The Desire R7, R7 Plus, and R7 mini will be joined by the company’s new release, the Cherry Mobile Desire R7 Lite.
The new R7 lite will be standing before the R7 mini. The newcomer brags a larger 5-inch display, beating the 4-inch screen that the R7 mini has. Also, since the Cherry Mobile R7 lite has bigger dimensions, it will also have a larger battery with 2200mAh capacity.
But other than the two difference, both are pretty much one and the same. The duo will sport the underpowered 1.3GHz quad-core processor with only 512MB of RAM. They also share the same 5-megapixel sensor on front and 2-megapixel at the back.
The “lite” version will be sporting a limiting 8GB of internal storage. Cherry Mobile also grabbed the outdated Android 6.0 Marshmallow, instead of the newer Android 7.0 Nougat.
But on the bright side, the Cherry Mobile Desire R7 lite will inherit the line-up’s premium build. As projected in the image above, the metal sides of the device give a pseudo-premium effect to the smartphone.
