Together with the Cherry Mobile Flare P3 and Flare P3 Lite, the company also gave us a first look on the Flare P3 Plus — the device that will complete the trinity of new low-end devices from the company.
Just like its siblings, the Cherry Mobile Flare P3 Plus will come with Android 8.0 Oreo Go Edition — one of the highlight features of the entire Flare P3 series aside from the 18:9 TrueView display. This new screen design was first introduced by the company on the Flare S6 Plus.
The entire Flare P3 line are the first smartphones from Cherry Mobile to come with Android Go. If you’re wondering why use it instead of their own CherryOS, it makes perfect sense since this version of Android is tailored to make budget-friendly handsets provide smooth performance despite the underpowered hardware.
But since this is the “Plus” model, it will come with a few advantages when compared to the other Flare P3 variants. For starters, it will arrive with a larger 6-inch screen real estate and probably higher resolution. The device will also have a better 8-megapixel selfie camera. And since it has a bigger body, it is also able to accommodate a larger battery rated at 3,000mAh.
