A Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 was unofficially outed in the Cherry Mobile Omega HD Facebook group a few minutes ago. So what’s in for the third generation Omega smartphone? Check out more details after the break.
Earlier this morning, we saw the supposed Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0, Blaze 2.0, and Thunder 2.0 thanks to Cherry Mobile Thailand. But now, another CM android phone was found and a person named Apol Marie Duque was able to buy a unit for Php8,999. At first the members didn’t believed her but she posted the box and receipt of her purchase to justify her claim of a Cherry Mobile Omega HD successor.

In response to the unofficial unveiling of the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0, many users has expressed their disappointment as they just purchased the Omega HD and in just a few days it was ‘outdated’ already. Meanwhile, other lurkers expressed delight as they almost bought one too and they accidentally saved themselves.

The launch of the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 is pretty much expected as the Skyfire 2.0 is not that much of an enemy on the MyPhone A919i Duo which is considered as the best local android phone at the moment. With the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0, it looks like the competition is now even up and we’re now about to see a true rivalry of affordable two top-notch smartphones.

Tanong ko po sa mga merong cherrymobile/smartphones na 4GB internal
memory. MagkakaProblema ba talaga sa pagInstall ng games kng maliit lng
internal memory ng phone (like 2GB available lng)? or hindi naman lahat

problem yan pag yung iinstall mo is me malaking data na included. like for example yung ff6 na games, na download ko yung installer pero while installing meron syang data na kasama, nasa 3 of 3 na ko when suddenly it prompts me na wala na kong space. so ibig sabihin sa internal memory sya nag iinstall instead na sa default ko na sd card.

para mamaximize mo, dapat jellybean para maimove mo ng storage sa application option ung app, then dapat may cleaner app ka para maitturn off mo sa background mga di ginagamit na apps. then use external SD card for Ebooks, pIcs, Mp3s at Movies.

by default dun kasi internal ang installation nun, you have to manually move it sa storage option ng app. pero added time ito iload everytime you start the device. iwas ka lng sa mabibigat na games kasi mapuno agad iyan. basta pagkatapos mo gamitin apps, swipe close it then press mo un one click clean shortcut ng clean app (un icon nya walis)

seriously with smart and globe right now most consumers only gets to use around 1mb – 3mbps speeds so its not really a problem

It’s a shame they couldn’t boost the memory to at least 8GB. Although more expensive O+ has that.

they have so many releases, kaya kaya ng service center nila ito? they should organize their releases, kawawa un mga kabibili lng tpos bukas pala may mas okay na specs for a little price difference.
technology evolves that quick… mas marami naman silang produkto compared to myphone.
Marami nga silang product, maraming sira at reklamo dahil sa low quality ng phones nila. That’s a fact na hndi nkikita ng mga customer kasi.

Kasi CherryMobile doesnt optimize much the Firmware according to battery kay madalas nagiinit agad, habol nila marelease agad sa market at masapawan kalaban. MP and SM inaayos muna nila OS bago irelease.
FYI Starmobile has “Over the Air Update “ng Firmware o OS nila kaya mas lamang sila nga yo sa CS from other local brands.

I was thinking on buying the A919i but it’s too bulky compared to the OHD, good thing this came up. But yeah, customer service of CM is hell.
