A Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 was unofficially outed in the Cherry Mobile Omega HD Facebook group a few minutes ago. So what’s in for the third generation Omega smartphone? Check out more details after the break.
Earlier this morning, we saw the supposed Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0, Blaze 2.0, and Thunder 2.0 thanks to Cherry Mobile Thailand. But now, another CM android phone was found and a person named Apol Marie Duque was able to buy a unit for Php8,999. At first the members didn’t believed her but she posted the box and receipt of her purchase to justify her claim of a Cherry Mobile Omega HD successor.

In response to the unofficial unveiling of the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0, many users has expressed their disappointment as they just purchased the Omega HD and in just a few days it was ‘outdated’ already. Meanwhile, other lurkers expressed delight as they almost bought one too and they accidentally saved themselves.

The launch of the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 is pretty much expected as the Skyfire 2.0 is not that much of an enemy on the MyPhone A919i Duo which is considered as the best local android phone at the moment. With the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0, it looks like the competition is now even up and we’re now about to see a true rivalry of affordable two top-notch smartphones.

not sure kung nagawa ko siya 3days ago. tapos kahapon meron na. pero as far as i can remember, wala naman siyang sound non.. :| HELP Please?
sino na po may CM omega hd 2.0 sa inyo jan.. guys pa help naman gusto ko lang malaman kung ano yung pinaka actual ram size ng omega hd 2.0 para matancha ko ung mga makakaya nyang high-end games.. makikita yun sa setting>apps>manage apps>running(sa baba makikita yung ram status)..
i want to compare it din to the other phones.. kasi bumili ako ng hyper CM dati ang nakalagay nyang ram size sa specs nya is 512MB samantalang nakalagay sa ram status ng phone is 351MB lang.. but anyway thanks in advance.. :D

ok nmn xa, mganda ung back and front camera compare dun sa mga unang release ng cherry, pag dating sa chipset mediatek 6589 at Graphics Processing Unit na Power VR SGX544mp pare parehas lng yan na single core Video card kagaya ng Myphone a919i duo at Oplus 8.15 kya performance will just be the same kse iisa lng chipset nila. advantage nitong cherry is camera camera for me is good compare to myphone and oplus,
although i dont believe that this is really 12 Megapixel. maybe the software not the hardware.
i bought this phone just for gaming purposes, i am currently playing real racing 3 on this phone and modern combat 4, ok ang performance smooth unlike ung dati kong cherry na blaze di kya,
ok talaga to pang gaming kasi quad core siya kaya hindi maglalag.
walang kinalaman ang processor sa gaming sa android phone boss… GPU ang tignan wag processor kahit dual core lang yan kung naka adreno 320 yan sulit gaming mo sa android… ang processor para lng sa multitasking… o.O

i think gaming while other apps are open is also a multi tasking right? so may kinalaman pa din ang processor for gaming.
i’m a photography enthusiast and i’ve captured fantastic photos sa omega hd 2.0 comparable sa totoong digital camera at halos walang noise yung photos kahit i-zoom. 12.5MP actually ang cam nito. best of all, f2.4 ang aperture size nito so kung mahilig kayo sa food photography, macro shots at dun sa in-focus/out-of-focus effects, pasok na pasok ito. mas maganda aperture size for macros nung omega hd 1 though kasi f2.2 sya pero i guess ginawa nilang f2.4 ito para di ganun ka-soft when taking landscape photos.
ito usual settings ko:
brightness = low
sharpness = medium to high depende sa subject
everything else = default
nasa timpla rin ng white balance minsan.
