A Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 was unofficially outed in the Cherry Mobile Omega HD Facebook group a few minutes ago. So what’s in for the third generation Omega smartphone? Check out more details after the break.
Earlier this morning, we saw the supposed Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0, Blaze 2.0, and Thunder 2.0 thanks to Cherry Mobile Thailand. But now, another CM android phone was found and a person named Apol Marie Duque was able to buy a unit for Php8,999. At first the members didn’t believed her but she posted the box and receipt of her purchase to justify her claim of a Cherry Mobile Omega HD successor.

In response to the unofficial unveiling of the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0, many users has expressed their disappointment as they just purchased the Omega HD and in just a few days it was ‘outdated’ already. Meanwhile, other lurkers expressed delight as they almost bought one too and they accidentally saved themselves.

The launch of the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0 is pretty much expected as the Skyfire 2.0 is not that much of an enemy on the MyPhone A919i Duo which is considered as the best local android phone at the moment. With the Cherry Mobile Omega HD 2.0, it looks like the competition is now even up and we’re now about to see a true rivalry of affordable two top-notch smartphones.

Tang@! 1GB yung memory (RAM), 4GB yung internal storage. Kung kinakapos ka sa 4GB, d mo na kelangan magroot ksi sa JB 4.2, specifically sa device na to, merong setting sa storage to set to primary storage disk write to “external disk”. Ibig sabihin, sa SD card magiinstall.
ung 4gb hinati hati na 1gb para internal memory, tpos 1gb ram, at the rest para sa mga apps na meron ang phone mo n pre installed na. mkakapag move ka ng apps sa sd card mo pero kumakain parin ng space sa 1gb ung ibang part ng app n dinownload mo.
Bratchic, ung 4GB na internal memory walang kinalaman dun ang RAM dahil may 1GB siya, magkaiba ang RAM at internal memory.

Tama naman siya, sa 4GB kasi na internal memory 1GB nlang ung available un ang ibig niyang sabihin siguro. ung the rest ng 4GB na consume na ng OS, pre-installed apps.

it’s been 3 months na since binili namin ng wife ko yung tig isa naming CM OHD 2.0 and up til now walang problema or anything since nagpost ako d2 3 months ago.
Since it’s an android phone it’s very customizable. kahit nga hindi ka na mag install ng Launcher at gamitin na lang yung default na launcher nya ayos din eh. sulit na sulit ang pagka HD nya. been playing HD games, viewing HD photos and videos at maganda talaga ang camera nya, we actually sold our 14megapixel snapper kasi di na namin nagagamit dahil ok naman yung 12megapix ng OHD 2.0 and yung phone na ang ginagamit naming camera in any occasions. mabilis and fluid ang performance ng phone and ansarap ipagyabang sa ibang smart phone users, hindi nakakahiyang iharap sa iphone 5 and samsung S4 users. tas naka tengga lang yung Acer Netbook N2800 namin kasi mabilis and masarap gamitin sa pag ne-net at pagba-browse ang Omega HD 2.0 (still depends on how good you internet connection is) di ko lang alam kung LTE capable ang phone, pero kung oo eh di mas swabe. we even use the phone for tethering and as a wifi hotspot. The OHD 2.0 can also handle multiple running apps at walang problema magswtich from one app to another by pressing down the home button for 2-3 seconds.
Kaya sa lahat ng bumili at nagbabalak bumili ng Omega HD 2.0 its a good choice compared sa ibang local brands d’yan.

please try comparing the OHD 2.0 and MP a919i side by side.
Since I already have my OHD for several months na, i can see the big difference between the two units.
We all know that the tech specs between the two are most likely alike, obviously mas lamang lang talaga and OHD 2.0.
And since pwede ako pumunta saan mang store na nagtitinda ng MP a919i with my OHD 2.0 with me, i can get a hold of both units and get the REAL FEEL kung alin talaga ang mas OK.
Apparently, sa unang tingin at hawak ko pa lang ng MP a919i kitang kita na agad ang napakalaking pagkakaiba. it looks and feels like a CHINA phone. unlike OHD 2.0 which is mas sleek, at talagang mas mukhang high-end ang OHD kesa sa MP a919i na mukhang laruan.

Happy with my omega hd 2.0. Been using it nearly a month now and so far no problems encountered whatsoever. Tried to benchmark a couple of times now using antutu and the first score was 13041 and the second was 13242. Good numbers coming from a local phone and actual use of the unit is more than ok.
