Doogee-Mix-2-Philippines-Price-Specs

Doogee is now ready to take on its midrange rivals with the arrival of the Doogee Mix 2 in the Philippines.

The first generation of the Mix was well received because of its good screen to size ratio, a substantial amount of RAM, and the omission of the bezel at the top. However, it wasn’t a perfect smartphone. The front-facing camera was relocated at the bottom which made it harder to take selfies, in addition to the already underwhelming performance of both of its cameras. Check out our full review to learn more about it.

The company is looking to fix all that with the Mix 2. Instead of the typical wide-screen design, Doogee went with the new trend — an 18:9 Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and extremely thin bezels on the side.

On the hardware side, it sports a Helio P25 octa-core chipset partnered with Mali-T880 GPU. It still packs 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is also expandable via micro SD. The camera department also got heavy improvements, as the Doogee Mix 2 now features a quad-camera configuration — 16-megapixel + 13-megapixel sensors at the back and two (2) 8-megapixel shooters in front.

Doogee also improved the security side of things. Now it’s not only protected by a fingerprint scanner, but also by a 3D facial recognition technology like the one found on the OPPO F5 and Vivo V7.

There are reports that this smartphone doesn’t have a real dual rear camera setup, but we cannot confirm it as we currently don’t have a review unit as of the moment.

With all these hardware packed inside the handset, you’d probably expect it to bear a premium price tag. But that’s not the case here.

Just like the first iteration, the Doogee Mix 2 is reasonably priced at Php12,995. This makes it a really great value for money, all things considered. You can purchase it online via Lazada. See listing here.
