Doogee Y6 Piano

Doogee clearly wants their presence in the Philippines to be known. Aside from the hype building around the Doogee Mix and the teased BL5000, this new brand also made the Doogee Y6 Piano available in Lazada.

The Doogee Y6 Piano is yet another smartphone that aims to lure the market with its staggering spec sheet at an affordable price. First off, it does have a MediaTek octa-core processor that’s partnered with a generous 4GB of RAM and a spacious 64GB of internal storage.

On the front there’s a 5.5-inch 720p display from SHARP, with a resolution that can be overlooked thanks to the 2.5D glass that’s tagged along with it. It does not have the “bezel-less” profile, so we’ll leave that bragging right to the Mix.

It also doesn’t sport dual cameras, but the 13-megapixel sensor is said to be coming from Samsung so that’s a good thing. There’s also an 8-megapixel selfie camera on front, combined with an 88-degree wide-angle lens and an LED flash.

But what’s disappointing is it only runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We don’t know yet if Doogee has any plans on releasing a software update, but let’s not get our hopes up.
