Ekonic, a local company for the geeks has partnered with both DC Comics and Smart Communications for a new, nerdgasm-ic smartphone. In time for the upcoming release of DC’s ensemble movie, the three announced the limited edition Ekonic Justice League smartphones.
The Ekonic Justice League smartphone doesn’t have the most exciting specs of all. But we highly doubt that you’ll be getting it for its performance. This superhero smartphone will make DC fans drool. Why? For one, Ekonic has sprinkled Justice League-ness all over it.
The device comes with a huge and elegant packaging. Inside there’s the smartphone itself, together with the superhero-themed accessories: Lasso of Truth microUSB cable, The Flash headphones, and four interchangeable back panels with different DC superheroes artwork.
Moreover, to provide that “collectibles” vibe, Ekonic will be producing only 5,000 units.
And with the handset’s specifications, you’re better off just putting it inside a display case. The Ekonic Justice League Smartphone only has a MediaTek quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also has a slightly low-res 5.5-inch 720p display and a small 2500mAh battery.
